Be purposeful: Remind yourself of the purpose of your tasks - no matter how small they are. Once “why” is articulated in your head, develop a plan with “what” and “how” to effectively achieve the purpose.  

Be positive: Be a fearless problem solver. Ask “how to make it work?” before asking “will it be possible?” Celebrate the half-full of the glass and find specific and constructive ways to fill the rest.

Unify the team: Create a loving and caring environment. Heal broken relationships. Understand that we are on the same boat. We are responsible for making each member feel cared for, respected and loved.

Seek feedback: Be fully involved but fully unattached. Welcome others to prove you wrong and show different perspectives and more effective ways to help you grow. Ask “what could I do differently?” before asking what others could.

Pursue excellence: Close your eyes. Think about the highest quality service you can imagine. Who's providing it? What is it like? Now, apply that standard to every detail of your work. Continue to raise your standards to propel the team to reach greater heights.

Be playfully professional: Be your true self. Bring your quirkiness out without worrying about being judged!

Be resourceful/entrepreneurial: Don’t take “no” for an answer. If the door is closed, what would you do? (your own answer) Do more with less. Effectiveness and efficiency both are important.
