Something shifts at ages 5-7
Children stop waiting to be shown what to do - and start wanting to figure it out themselves. Summer 2026 is designed to meet that moment. Inventors own the process: identifying real problems, collaborating autonomously, and building the skills and mindset of true changemakers. This summer, every weekly theme was purposefully designed to deliver a specific growth area - so each week is a complete, meaningful step forward.
See below to learn how our interdisciplinary curriculum supports development across a broad range of areas - from leadership and technical fluency to critical thinking.
The Inventors' Growth Map
Below are the 8 Growth Areas your child will develop this summer, along with the linked themes. You can click any growth area or theme icon on this theme page to explore more.
💡 Design Thinking
Turning big imaginations into real inventions. Explorers build creative confidence by solving problems with their own two hands.
Themes: Inventors' Playground (6/22-26)
❤️ Empathetic Changemaking
Designing with heart. We learn to spot the needs of others and create thoughtful solutions to help them.
Theme: Designing with Empathy (8/3-7)
🔎 Scientific Thinking
Always asking "Why?" We test wild ideas and discover the magic of cause-and-effect through hands-on experiments.
Theme: Magic Kingdom (7/6-10)
🏎️ Physics & Bodily-Kinesthetic
Mastering the "Zoom!" Explorers get a grip on gravity and mechanics while building things that roll, spin, and fly.
Themes: Woodworking Racers (7/13-17), World's Coolest Playground (8/10-14)
🤸 Technical Fluency
Whole-body learning. We lift, balance, and build to strengthen the coordination and control that fuels creativity.
Themes: Water Park Carnival (7/27-31), Junior Robotics League (8/17-21)
🗣️ Collaboration & Leadership
Big projects, bigger teamwork. We learn to listen, share ideas, and work together to build something larger than ourselves.
Themes: Architects' Gardening (6/29-7/3)
🎨 Artistic Creativity
Where art meets tech. Explorers use color, motion, and music as powerful tools for storytelling and expression.
Theme: Robotic Artists (6/15-19)
🧩 Logic & Critical Thinking
Puzzle masters in training. We explore patterns, sequencing, and logic through playful, mission-based challenges.
Theme: Future of Transportation (7/20-24), Automate the World (8/24-28)
Daily Schedule
9:00 AM: Drop-Off & Opening Ritual
We ease into the day with quiet activities before waking it up with mindful breathing and an energizing group ritual. This is where we connect, set intentions, and agree on shared rules for a great day of inventing.
9:45 AM: STEM Lab 1 (Hands-on Learning & Building)
Teachers launch the day's challenge and step back. Inventors dive straight into hands-on building and experimentation, driving their own discovery from the very first minute.
10:30 AM: Snack & Bathroom Break
We get the energy out, then use a breathing routine to reset.
11:00 AM: STEM Lab 2 (Test, Iterate & Improve)
Time to put inventions to the test. Inventors analyze what worked, what didn't, and why - using an inquisitive mindset to improve their designs. We celebrate "Awesome Mistakes" as the fastest path to a better solution.
12:00 PM: Lunch & Recess
1:00 PM: Outdoor Play
We head outside for big movement from water balloon battles to rocket launches.
2:10 PM: Science Experiments & Soft Skill Celebration
We close the day with theme-related science experiments that build the scientific method and an inquisitive mind. Then we celebrate the soft skills embodied throughout the day - because who you become as an inventor matters as much as what you build.
