Learning Standards:

PK.S.1.1 (Scientific Inquiry and Methodology): Campers will engage in exploratory play to understand simple scientific concepts behind building structures, such as balance and stability.

PK.S.3.2 (Physical Science): Campers will observe and discuss the characteristics of materials they use in woodworking, like wood versus plastic, to develop an understanding of everyday materials.

PK.ELA.5.1 (Speaking and Listening): Campers will effectively communicate and describe their building processes and the functions of their structures, enhancing vocabulary and expressive skills.

Collaboration & Leadership

Working with peers, children learn how to share ideas, divide roles, and build together toward a shared goal. Each large-scale group project strengthens their communication, patience, and sense of leadership in what they achieve as a team.
