App Design Studio: Innovate, Code, and Launch!

Did you know today's most iconic apps, from Duolingo to Spotify, didn’t start in massive corporate offices? It all started with someone like you, a creator who can see problems, imagine something better, and bring it to life all on their own! Step inside our App Design Studio, where your rapid prototyping journey begins with looking deep into user experience. From modern AI tools to front end development workflows, you’ll move your vision from an idea into a real prototype by crafting wireframes, interfaces, and functionality that feels intuitive and good to use. As our Masters become app developers who understand the digital interactions and physical experience, they’ll decide what their apps should do, who it’s for, and how they should interact with it. Coding, UX/UI design, and product decision-making come together as they test ideas, refine features, and push their app towards our wacky “NORY Demo Day.” Whether their app is playful, useful, or bold, our Masters step into the role of true app developers, confidently pitching their prototypes to investors and proving they have what it takes to launch something original.

Campers Will:

  • Design original app concepts by researching user needs, defining features, and creating wireframes and UX/UI layouts that prioritize usability and clarity.
  • Develop functional app prototypes using modern AI tools and front-end workflows, turning ideas into interactive digital products that actually work.
  • Pitch their completed prototypes at the NORY Demo Day, explaining their design decisions, functionality, and vision to investors as confident app creators.
